The wine guide of renowned Chilean journalist Patricio Tapia, Descorchados 2016, awarded Finísimo Sauvignon Blanc 2015 and Genovino Carignan 2014 with 91 points. This publication provides a full picture of the Chilean wine industry, and for its 15th version more than 1,800 wines from 200 national wineries were tasted.
From the Casablanca Valley, Finísimo Sauvignon Blanc stands out for its fresh and fragrant aromas with citrus notes such as grapefruit, lime and green pepper. And with notes of fresh fruit and a soft touch of violets, Genovino Carignan is an expressive and elegant wine, distinctive of the Cauquenes region, in the Maule Valley.
This is a recognition to the work of winemaker Javier Solari and his team, along with the winery’s Agricultural Area, who have produced wines that are true representatives of its origin and express the best of each variety.
